Daily Schedule:
Time: 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. during the normal school day.
The first two hours of each day are devoted to discipline issues along with students discipline problems and or suspension issues.
A daily meeting with the principal or vice-principal to discuss all the above listed problems and plan for the next day solutions. These meetings usually take place at the end of each day.
We offer as many as four classes that consist of 10-12 students per class. All classes are offered in its entirety or part of the curriculums.
Each class meet for as long as the principals decide, concluding with a celebration of success ceremony.
Classes are held in a class room setting to achieve maximum success.
UMOJA furnish each class and class room with all necessary supplies and materials.
During the semester, we take the students on field trips that deal with the curriculum at no cost to the student or the school.
Monthly, quarterly, and annual reports tracks discipline issues, suspension, attendance along with progress that is accomplished.
Site Directors are responsible to the Principal.
