Gladys Robison Finch
A native of Reidville, SC, she was born "the last day of the year" in 1929. Mrs. Finch is survived by her husband of 63 years, Paul Finch; her children, Rev. Legree and Sue Finch of Marietta, GA, Joyce and Will Harkinson of Greer, SC, Kathy and George Schultz of Rutherfordton, NC, and Sue and Steve Murphy of Greenville, SC; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Leona Hill, Peggy Arms, and Nellie Bridwell; her brothers, Dewis, Willie, and Benny Robison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Toy and Marie Robison; three sisters; four brothers; and a granddaughter, Kate.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at Dunbar Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 500 Oak Grove Road in Spartanburg on Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ray Hellings, Rev. Alfred Mersman, and Rev. Legree Finch.
Internment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spartanburg Regional Hospice, 120 Heywood Avenue, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302; or to Trinity Presbyterian Church Missions Program, 500 Oak Grove Road, Spartanburg, SC 29301.
