Hobby Lobby opens in Havasu
Hobby Lobby offers crafts, hobbies, picture framing, jewelry making, fashion fabrics, floral, scrapbooking, baskets, wearable art, home accents, holiday supplies and much more, according to a press release from the company. The chain has grown into 475 stores in 39 states. Store hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday with the store closed on Sundays. The Lake Havasu City Council adopted an agreement earlier this year that is set to provide about $220,000 in tax incentives over about five years to development at the location. Representatives with Oklahoma-based Land Run Development, who secured a lease with Hobby Lobby earlier this year, say the company will be the “main tenant” at the location but previously stated that several other stores could open as well.
