From the lobby of the activities center off of Aliante Parkway I was able to see, without really turning my head much, swimming pools, spas, weight rooms, billiards, and a variety of meeting and activity rooms.

One feature of Sun City Aliante that may not get mentioned in their own promotional literature very often is that Aliante is in a very beautiful spot. In winter snow-capped mountains smile over the area. In summer the snow is gone but the lovely vistas remain. And what if you want some of that Las Vegas Lifestyle? Maybe you’ve always like playing the ponies, or slot machines, or some blackjack or craps? Well, then you need only cross the street from the activities center to find Aliante Station Casino . It is probably the nicest and best smelling casino I’ve ever been in. Like all Station casinos, it caters primarily to local clientele , so it includes things like a food court and movie theaters to provide us lucky Las Vegans with a total entertainment experience.

Summing it all up, I’d say that while Sun City Aliante is too far from the center of town for a city boy like myself, it has a lot to offer, and if you live there, you really don’t have any compelling reason to go into town in the first place. A beautiful location, top-notch facilities, and entertainment at your doorstep. Now that’s living in style!
