In 1999, she joined Citytv where she was the anchor and reporter for CP24. In 2006, she joined Global news as a general assignment reporter, weekend anchor and court specialist.

Q: How would you describe your home in a few words?

A: Warm, romantic and cozy. It's like a warm blanket.

A: It is a 1,200-square foot, converted loft. It's about a 100-years-old and was originally a warehouse in Toronto. It is an open-concept, 2-floor corner unit with lots of windows, exposed brick and beam, 14-foot ceilings and a staircase in the middle. I kept all the original fixtures. I also lucked out with a small patio that will let me spend the weekend gardening. I love the galley-style kitchen.

Q: What attracted you to this space?

A: I have always loved the building and the area. Its rich history and character were instant selling points for me. The fact that it had so much natural light, original brick, exposed beams and wood floors were a no brainer. The bonus is that it is a ground floor unit which lets me avoid elevators. Did I mention that the huge bedroom had a walk-in closet with shoe shelves built in?

Q: Who shares your home?

A: My new golden Cocker Spaniel puppy Butter and my 14-year-old rescue cat from Alberta cat named Morgan. Butter sits and watches the world go by. She thinks she is guarding the place but she is far too cute to be a threat. Morgan is shy. With her dark fur she blends into everything. I'm still waiting for Mr. Right to walk through the door.
